In the mid-eighties, Jeff’s first exposure to farming was helping with the herd of Angus cattle that the Vazquez’s had for decades. In addition to managing the business, Jeff is in charge of rebuilding the infrastructure of the farm, keeping the machinery running, helping with the care of the animals, and occasionally helping with the crops.
Farm Owner, Nadine, grew up at Whitehall since 1960 when her family acquired it. Always surrounded by a herd of Angus cattle, dairy cows, goats, dogs, and horses, Nadine is an animal lover who wants to keep the farm property preserved for her family and community.
As our main grower, Caitlin cares for our crops and oversees our CSA program. She has a deep passion for sustainable agriculture and all things farm related. Along with the hard hours she puts in on the farm, she also manages the sustainability program at George Mason University's dining services.
Abby is an avid animal lover who cares for our laying hens, (along with other various farm duties) by feeding them and giving them their daily love. She also gathers the eggs and prepares them for sale in our market. Abby is currently in high school and loves art or anything creative!
Hala does the marketing and outreach at Whitehall Farms. She earned a Bachelor's in Communication from George Mason University and has an Advanced Permaculture Certification. Hala enjoys raising chickens and sheep, gardening, hiking, biking, and practicing parkour.
Randy McKeen has been working at Whitehall since August 2019 and has been enjoying the fulfilling work ever since.
Although from Alabama, he enjoys the local culture in Virginia.
